SEWER SCOPE INSPECTION
BY MAX HOME INSPECTIONS
This is what sewer pipes in good condition look like
PVC Pipes Vs Cast Iron
Sewer pipes in good condition can be cast iron or PVC material. PVC is resistant to corrosion and lasts longer than cast iron. Most homes built after 1980 have PVC sewage lines.
PVC Can Have Problems
PVC pipes can break, disconnect, back pitch, and clog, but in most cases, PVC is the better choice of materials. Pictured above are PVC pipes in good condition allowing water to flow freely.
